Refund Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This is the plain-language version of how refunds work at Duskworth. It forms part of our Terms of Service (section 7). The short version: if you haven’t used the service since a payment, that payment is fully refundable. Once your line is live and Daniel has answered for you, payments are final.
1. The free week comes first
Monthly plans start with a 7-day free trial — days 1–5 we set up, days 6 and 7 it runs live on your line. Cancel any time before the week ends and you’re simply never charged. Nothing to refund, because you never paid.
2. The zero-usage exception
- Any subscription payment — monthly or yearly — is refundable in full if you haven’t used the Service at all since that payment was made: no calls answered, no minutes used.
- Overage invoices bill for calls Daniel has already answered, so by their nature there’s no unused version of them. If you think we’ve miscounted, ask — we’ll send the call log and correct any error.
- The moment the Service answers a call for you after a payment, that payment becomes non-refundable. The yearly discount and bonus credits are the trade for paying up front.
- Usage is measured by our systems, the same way plan allowances are. We’ll show you the call log either way — the answer should never feel like a black box.
3. When we refund anyway
Two situations from our Terms override the rule above, in your favour: if we materially fail to provide the Service for an extended period and can’t fix it within a reasonable time after you tell us, you can cancel and we’ll refund the unused portion of what you’ve prepaid; and if we ever end your subscription for convenience, we refund the unused portion of anything you’ve prepaid. Cancelling normally still works as always — no fees, service runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for.
4. How to ask
Email support@duskworth.ca from the address on your account. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days. If you think a charge is wrong, please talk to us before disputing it with your card issuer — billing mistakes get fixed quickly and without drama, and our Terms allow us to pause service while a chargeback on a legitimate charge is open.
5. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits refund rights that applicable law gives you and that can’t be contracted out of. Where law requires a refund, we follow the law.
